A fundraising effort to repair and
renovate the Goodale Park tennis and basketball courts.
These areas are in dire need of repair and without
immediate action our local youth teams and our citizens
will be unable to utilize them. The majority of the
funding could potentially come from the Community
Preservation Act (CPA) account pending approval at the
semi-annual town meeting currently scheduled for May
17th. Money in this account is reserved for town
projects such as this, but some private fundraising is
necessary to make this happen.
Following the overwhelming success and community support
of the Bicentennial events, we are coordinating a banner
drive. We believe this is an excellent way of not only
advertising your business but also showing support for
our town parks.
The banners will be displayed on our main streets from
April through September. One Banner is $600 and 2
Banners are $1000.
